Finally! Here’s Pepa from my Burned and Buried AU! I went for a muted, more yellowy color palette for her outfit. It’s also an inversion of her original movie design; she’s darker at the top and gets lighter towards the bottom. Her symbols are based on “gloomier”, weather such as fog, wind and of course snow which are the more common phenomena she controls in this AU.They’re supposed to be more faded to represent a more reclusive character. Hence, she wears a jacket and a shawl to warm/hide herself.Fun fact, I thought the coat I was referencing was from Colombia, but NOPE! Peru. I didn’t want her to simply wear another poncho/ruana, so it still kind of works for now until I find a better alternative.(Damn you Pinterest.)Now, for her character! For those who haven’t already read the chapter she appears in (Chapter 2), she’s even more overprotective than Luisa is. Over the years she’s become a less bolder personality and more of a paranoiac fearful of the world. Due to major events, she’s frightened of even the slightest bit of harm coming to her children, which often results in her placing often extreme measures to keep them safe. Camilo got the brunt of it at first, but much of it transferred to Antonio after he was born. Luckily Félix takes ride-or-die very seriously and is 100% that Chad. He is there for his family be it quelling his wife’s worries or preventing his children from being smothered by her. But even the greatest family man can get weary… Not sure if this’ll be her final design, but I at least wanted to post something. ————————————Reblogs are appreciated!
