hlootooart:I was really at a loss on what to do for Luisa’s outfit. Again I used rejected concept art for inspiration but I’m still not so sure. I toyed with the idea of a jumper. Maybe I’ll change some things around. For now, I wanted to have her outfit be even more spartan and designed with purely hard labor in mind. She has a back brace instead of a belt, she has work boots (at least they’re supposed to be) and her hair is tied back into a braid– unintentionally making her resemble Pepa. Her emblems are mostly squares (get it, cuz she’s one) that also tell how reliable, yet rigid she can be. Also pantaloons because they’re just so fun! Note the little pompoms on her sleeves… ;)As you can see, her relationship with Mirabel is the one gearing towards negative because of how domineering she can sometimes be. She’s constantly monitoring her with so many rules and guidelines in place that it often becomes suffocating. Yet despite her behavior towards her, Luisa truly does love her sister. She just wants her to be safe…. for a good reason. Julieta seems to understand at least, much to Mirabel’s chagrin…————————————Reblogs are appreciated!
