daisysouthmoore: aya-kr: Negan and Judith I’m sorry I easily forget I have this account that I was trying to revive…A not so old The Walking Dead fanart I did while watching Season 9I thought it would be awesome to see Negan and Judith taking care of walkers, of course, when I posted it on twitter I received a lot of hate because of Negan. Yeah, he is not a good person, there’s not a single character in the show who is a saint… and to be honest, I really like his redemption arc, he realised he was wrong and there are other ways to do things that’s why he is trying so hard to prove Alexandria that he has changed. Even Judit saw that. Also, Negan in season 7 didn’t appeal to me a single bit, but the change he is making I find it’s one of the most interesting characters right now.Just a side note: No, I haven’t read the comics. From the art side, I wanted to try something different in this one, especially the inking.Hope you enjoy and please no hate, if you don’t like Negan it’s ok, you can just ignore the picture. First of all, your work is fucking fantastic! I love it ! You’re immensely talented and you should be incredibly proud that. You deserve nothing but praise for this. Thank you for creating content for us to enjoy. If someone can’t appreciate you and your work properly, they can fuck right off. Secondly, Negan is one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. Even when he was only a villain (which he wasn’t there was far more depth than that), he was my favorite villain. Despite the obvious use of coercion and him blatantly objectifying his wives. Is it okay? Absolutely not. But he was literally created to be hated. And yet he’s still one of the most interesting, captivating, and terrifying characters in the comic or on the show. And amongst all his bludgeoning he STILL manages to play the part of comic relief too. Kirkman nailed it with this character. And the people who hate his character are doing exactly what is expected of them. It’s just unfortunate that some can’t distinguish fiction from reality enough to give credit where it is damn well deserved. Lastly, I was Negan. I’m still Negan. And I’ll forever be Negan. Peace out. Thank you so much for your words!Really Negan is a very interesting character and as you say it’s sad seeing people how unable they are to separate fiction from reality and above all: enjoy things and let other people enjoy whatever they want!Thank you again I appreciate it very much! -- source link
