::Catbus and Friends in the Birchforest :: . Happy new year! . Finally I got to upload this one, a new Ghibli-homage! . I already have finished this in time for the Comic Con in Dortmund and it was received really well. I wanted to upload it here much earlier but there is a lot to do in the house at the moment with renovations and I also get a new place for production and finishing of my canvas prints - some extra 120 square meter production-and-storage space Those unfortunately do not setup themselves, so I have to do everything in between orders and preparations for MCC ( Leipzig Book Fair) in March. . Back to this piece: it is based again on a wonderful forest painting by Ivan Shishkin from around 1891 (if I’m not mistaken).
