and part 2 of the corporate branding palettes :) the remaining cities have logos and stuff but since they have no branding strategies or anything on their websites I’m gonna ignore them for a bit :); some notes on the colour choices- RMWB refers to the blue in their logo as “Energy Blue” because of course it does. - Lethbridge’s colours include: Oldman Blue, Prairie Gold, and Dusk Red. There’s no particular meaning associated with each colour, but the strategy makes it clear that the city is aiming for a “folksy, down to earth, person next door” kind of image and that the city is a “force of nature”- Medicine Hat has names for all the colours in their primary and secondary palette, the primary ones here being Sunshine Capital Yellow, Official Source Navy, and Finlay Bridge Green. Again, no specific reasoning accompanies the colours but I find it delightful that shapes (including “the ray” as a little accent bar to “introduce the concept of sunshine” to the brand and that’s adorable. -- source link
