mistermead: Epilogue: The First DayTo all those that took the bait and sent me confused asks on whether “Finnick is Dead” was the endgame of the JiD series… no, no it wasn’t. This is. This is the end. There is no more. I don’t have a sequel planned for Judy is Dead, and no, there is no strip about how Judy died. Neither is there a strip with July’s father’s phone call, but suffice it to say, he called because they saw her in the news, and she did learn everything about Judy’s relationship with Nick. It’s been a heck of a ride, for months this series was the only thing I’d work on outside of my day job, and now it’s finally out of my system! I wasn’t alone in working on it though, I had a ton of help. Special thanks to WriteAnon, @trashsavage, and VrBit for all their help in writing and editing, as well as @zooijiness, @eightspartans and Rose for all their input on the art. You guys are great! And of course the fans! I dunno if I’d have kept the motivation to finish this huge project without the encouragement of everyone on /trash/ and here on tublrmar. I also need to give thanks to all those that gave their unfiltered and withering critique online. Tragedy porn indeed! I learned a lot about storytelling making this and, while you might not see it, in the end the series was much better for it. Finally, it’s very unlikely the series would have reached nearly as many without the early reblogs by @nicolaswildes, so special mention to him or her (they?) as well! Keep up your good work, dude(tte)! Yessss -- source link
