Courtesy of The Philbrook Museum @philbrookmuseum Chilkat blankets are worn by Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian, and other Northwest Coast indigenous people on ceremonial occasions, including dances. Chilkat weaving is one of the most complex weaving techniques in the world. A Chilkat blanket can take a year to weave. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Tulsa Oklahoma.
