joinlobear: It is cold. And not the moment to undress completely in the middle of the old town of Barcelona like my brave model here in the photo. But it’s not just cold because it’s winter. It’s not a good time to do something crazy, something out of the ordinary, to live your life according to your own wishes and feelings, even if they do not conform to the usual patterns dictated by “social” networks and public morality. The so-called reason and the constant analysis of ones own external effects freeze the world. It is cold. The appetite for life, for passion, for the pleasure in the human being and in humanity could make the world warmer and more enjoyable. When I take pictures, these are the mainsprings of my doing (without taking the big word “love” in the mouth). Sometimes my pictures are raw in their open directness, sometimes sensitive and delicate, almost abstract. They show the passionate joy of life, of sensuality, of wildness and the desire for erotic authenticity. They arise from the tension between my male gaze and the feminine sensibility of the courageous models who dare to show themselves as they are.
