russingon: @aspecardaweek DAY TWO: LEGOLASThe only child of Thranduil was LEGOLAS. Legolas was known for his skill with a bow and for his great love of the forests of Middle Earth. Histories tell us most of Legolas’ time as a member of the Fellowship of the Ring and of his valiance in battle during the War that followed. The great love of Legolas’ life was not that of a spouse, as is told of Aragorn and Arwen, but rather that of his friends; Tauriel, whom he had befriended in childhood, Aragorn, with whom he had braved many perils, and Gimli his most stalwart and beloved friend.
