brandonimhotep:Man Declines Management Trainee Position because (Enterprise Car Rental) asked him to cut his Hair Locs Last Thursday, I had a job interview at @enterprise. I had this opportunity through a mutual friend and was qualified for the position. With that being said I went in feeling that all I had to do was win them over in the interview. The day before I went out & bought my Sunday’s best to impress for this opportunity. I went in & everything went great I felt as if I belonged & would be an Enterprise Management Trainee in no time. After leaving the interview I said to myself “I got the job, but I don’t feel right.” Happy as ever I came home & shared the news with my girlfriend & embraced my son. As I put him to sleep I dozed off and woke up to a few missed calls & a voicemail. The voicemail suggested I call back ASAP, so I did. On the other end of the phone was Enterprise. After greeting one another, I was told I GOT THE JOB. I went in and won the interview & now I was on my way to becoming an Enterprise Management Trainee. But I was told I had to cut my dreads above shoulder length or off because IT did not meet their professional standards. Not me the college graduate, team captain, father, or son but my hair wasn’t up to their standards. So after giving me time to chose which path I would take. I decided to decline their offer & make this post. This the reason Jay-Z growing his hair out till this day. It’s all good this won’t be my last interview.
