Computo was originally designed to act as an assistance to the Legion of Super Heroes, to help them better manage their mission to protect the galaxy. Unfortunately, the intelligence went rogue and devised to destroy The Legion. With access to all the information about The Legion, Computo was able to develop specific strategies to neutralize each of them. The android’ rampage ended up claiming the life of one of Triplicate Lass’ doubles, resulting in her becoming Duplicate Damsel. Brainiac 5 was ultimately able to defeat Computo by using a sample of antimatter he discovered in the ruins of The Batcave. Computo would return on subsequent occasions yet the Legion always managed to find a means to defeat it. The villain first appeared in Adventure Comics #340 (1966).I LOVE THEIR DESIGN SO MUCH :D Just look at them Just look at this beautifully ridiculous robit And yet somehow despite resembling a prop from a 50′s sci fi movie they are one of the most deadly villains the Legion have facedComputo is best villainOnly this guy could defeat himOkay so I have QUESTIONS OneThe Legion foresaw this exact situation? And TwoTHIS WAS THEIR BACK UP PLAN?Amazing Genuinely amazing I want to know what other people the Legion have erased from everyone’s memory to keep on their team. Do they just have a warehouse somewhere full of Legionnaires that they take out of storage when incredibly ridiculous situations happen?
