2015! I can’t believe that we only five more days left of 2015! How could that be possible?! Anyways, I would like to greet everyone a very Merry Christmas (don’t care if I’m too late) and advance Happy New Year!I know I have quite abandoned the blog ever since I started working so I do want to say sorry for that. Anyways, I wanted to update you guys but I also feel that it’s already kind of irrelevant since most of them happened quite a while back already.Soooo… I decided to make a 2015 summary post instead! I’ll share this year’s highlights which I think will be more interesting for both my old and new followers! Without further ado, here goes my 2015 highlights~Circuit Training~ believe it or not but I actually had circuit training for two good months this year. I had it while I was reviewing for my boards and it was quite the struggle. I wish I never stopped (my coach resigned), hopefully I could get back to it next year!I PASSED THE CPA BOARDS! Definitely one of the best things that ever happened to me this year. I kind of missed studying, honestly, and being active as a studyblr! Thanksgiving Party~ My parents threw me a party where we invited our close family friends and churchmates who had been there to support me while I was still reviewing. I got to share my testimony during this time, as well.Staycation at Maribago BlueWaters! This was my first ever out of town trip without bringing anything to study! It was a memorable one for me because I didn’t bring any book with me after seven years of studying!Malapascua and Kalanggaman Island~ I visisted Malapascua twice this year and I just couldn’t get enough of this island. It’s so beautiful there and I always get refreshed after being on the island so I made it a point to go there again before I officially started working.Manila Trip / Citibank interview ~ It was my first time to fly to Manila without my parents and it was just a whole new kind of experience for me. I honestly cried while I was in the taxi when I arrived in Manila because I was just so overwhelmed! I was so anxious that I would do bad in the interview and that my parents’ money would all go to waste. Still I am thankful that I braved through the whole process and made sure I enjoyed my time (visited so many cute cafes) while I was there. I actually was chosen for the job but had to turn it down for some reason.24th birthday! Yaaassss. I celebrated my birthday at a Japanese unli buffet with my officemates and had dinner with my family later on that day. I felt really loved by the surprise that my officemates, family and bestfriend did for me. Work as a credit analyst~ I still am really so thankful to God for giving me the chance to work as a credit analyst without any prior work experience. I didn’t have any backer and I wasn’t eligible because I didn’t have any work experience. But I know that God was the one who worked out everything and I couldn’t really believe how I’m on the team now. Next year, I promise to work extra hard to glorify Him all the more.First Training (work) ever~ Second trip to Manila without my parents. I was with my workmate this time and I’m just proud that I survived! The transpo and traffic were a huge, huge struggle but I’m glad I made it.First Christmas Party (work)! Flew back to Manila for our Christmas Party and it was quite an experience. It was just nice to be with the whole team in another city. Definitely a first that I wouldn’t ever forget.Well, that’s it! I hope you had fun reading. If you will also make a post like this, tag me so I could also read yours! If you’re up for some chat, leave messages so we could catch up on each other like BFFs! Haha :) Once again, advance Happy New Year and thank you for being a part of my 2015! Ciao~ -- source link
