Since the focus of our recent Sabbat Box was runes and the various ways they can be used magickally, we thought we might include a token of protection in the form of a pocket stone inside each Beltane Box that we shipped. This particular stone is engraved with what is known in different Norse and Germanic traditions as “Vegvisir” — a culmination of staves and runes that represent protection against losing one’s way or difficult obstacles. The set we had custom made includes the Vegvisir stone (etched with golden inlay on black agate), as well as a beautiful guide that goes deeper into the history and lore of this beloved symbol.
