kritterart: kritterart: Hey, guys. I know many of you follow me for my art and I don’t make too many personal posts, but I wanted to touch base about something very serious and personal that has been going on in my life. My family was hit hard in January of this year by the unfortunate diagnosis that our father, Anthony Ritter, has stage 4 of a rare and aggressive cancer known as leiomyosarcoma. My younger sisters and I have been fighting alongside him during this time entirely on our own. This has become increasingly difficult to sustain financially. We have created a GoFundMe in the hopes of providing some relief and security for our father who has so selflessly provided for us our whole lives. Any donations, big or small, are so greatly appreciated. Please click this link for more information or to donate, and please help us get the word out by sharing this post. Thanks, best wishes, and good health. My sisters and I are looking into hiring a nurse or care giver who can help us with the nights so that we can try and get some sleep. It gets very costly, so I’m plugging this again. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me or drawn me something beautiful over the past few days. You guys have no idea how much it means to me. If you cannot donate, please reblog! Much love. Kait and her sisters have been taking care of their dad completely on their own. I can’t describe all the terrible things I’ve seen them go through this past year, but they consistently amaze me with their strength. I know they’re all sick of hearing how strong they are, because what they’ve been doing is only out of love and necessity. I know it’s hard because Kait is the only one with full time work, and it’s hard to navigate all the awful paperwork that comes with having to care for a terminally ill family member. I don’t really know what else I can say besides donate if you can ❤️ -- source link
