I called an Uber around 9am this morning to XX Street, me and the driver were quiet on the way but just few seconds before we arrived, the driver told me, “Thank you very very very much! Because of you I finally got a chance to go home and take a rest.” He’d been driving since 3am this morning and didn’t get any chance to rest because those destinations were too far away from his place. His place is actually near XX Streat, where I was heading to. So when he heard my destination, he was like yay x100 times in his head. This is wonderful, isn’t it? We actually don’t know each other, I was just going to work, but I accidentally made his day. My behavior of going to work just became a chance for him to rest; his behavior of saying thank you to me just made my mood better. If I’d decided not to take Uber, or if he’d decided not to say thank you to me, things would’ve just been a totally different story, right? There’s nothing in this world doesn’t need to exist, even a small tiny thing might make other people feel great. So it all depends on how we think of it. :) -- source link
