erinwitzel: I wanted to get in at least one #mermay before the end of the month! Please be kind, I haven’t drawn a mermaid before! Maybe I’ll do more next year ^^ I actually had started another drawing first, wanting to try something different– since I’ve been doing more work in Photoshop, but it wasn’t feeling right/good, so I returned to vector-based for this piece. I always do the base illustration in Illustrator and bring into Photoshop for final textures, etc. I hope to share an in-progress gif. Would anyone like that? Maybe I’ll add another style to my repertoire eventually, we’ll see! -- source link
