But the article is right, Rufus and his husband (in the photo) have been immensely popular here in Denmark considering he’s “just” an American ambassador. It certainly helped that they chose to get married in Denmark in the very hall where the first legally recognized same sex union in the world happened. The queen even held a big goodbye party for them, and today his departure was cover news about how “everybody loves Rufus”. God have mercy on the next ambassador assigned by Trump. -- source link
