Regan Taylor was indisposed for the matinee on Tuesday the 23rd of January, so Theo David (Soldier in Othello, Claudio in Much Ado) went on in his place as Othello. He is only 21 years old and absolutely blew the audience away. There is no official system of understudies at the Pop Up Globe, so many of these rare performances are done without notice or rehearsal.
