How is that relevant? Aren’t the prices set by the stores anyway?The store gets goods from a supplier for a price A, then sells it at a higher price B. Since the store sets price B, it’s they who have the responsibility to include sales tax in prices, regardless of where the supplier is from, and regardless of what price A was. I understand what you’re saying, but the percentage of sales tax is set by the state. Not the individual stores. So theoretically the price could be lower if politicians weren’t such greedy dirt bags -- source link
