Her silent prayers for a brilliant singing voice went unanswered for much of her life until they were eventually heard by the God of Storms. Keranos granted Iris her wish, but as she opened her lips to sing for the first time, a tempest of rage and lightning emerged, scouring all before her, including her flock. The shock of such horror had triggered her spark, sending Iris to Ravnica.
