This can potentially prompt others to rally around them, or the behavior can get in the way of the others and them-self if they are not careful. Like The Swindler, they seem to have mostly taken an interest in this experiment for monetary reasons. Although the subjects have had little-to-no interactions with each other yet, this subject’s misunderstanding of this being a group experiment rather than them being a singular test subject seems to have escaped them prior to now.
