I’m slowly dragging my room mate into D&D hell with me 8)I doodled some character designs for us to sweeten the deal. They’re twin sisters raised by a single (deceased) half elf mother. Their father is supposedly a gold dragon, if their mother’s stories are to be believed but regardless they’re now seeking him out across the land just for some sense of closure. Left to right:Eleya: 21 | Half Elf | 5′5 | (Draconic) Sorcerer/Warlock - Younger TwinThe bookish, scholarly sort. She spent more time delving into ancient lore or star charts than she did delving into the strange, volatile magic that lived in her blood. She was never one to pay much attention to the lives of other people unless Ethriel dragged her into some escapade or other that she usually had to mediate, or try to dissuade her sister from solving every problem with her fist. That was all the excitement Eleya thought she’d ever get in her life, and was quite content with that. When their village fell to a raid by a huge tribe of Orcs, she made a split second decision and reached through the aether to form a contract with a demon known as Alzrius in the layer of the Abyss that was the closest to the Material Plane given the alignment of the stars at the time. The surge of destructive magic decimated the invading forces, but even then it was all she could do to clear a gap large enough to allow herself and her sister to escape. She could not save their mother. Ethriel: 21 | Half Elf | 5′8 | (Draconic) Sorcerer/Fighter - Elder TwinAlways the one to rush headfirst into trouble if it meant being able to beat a bully back into their place (or if there were any alcohol involved). Any sort of pleading with her to use her head would likely end up with her literally using her rock hard skull to knock a few teeth out. A favorite story of hers claims she even used her head to knock out an ogre’s teeth before felling it in a duel. She was hailed the local hero after that. Ethriel was always the more approachable of the sisters, always ready to help and drag Eleya into new, interesting situations in the name of justice. This meant, of course, whatever she personally defined as justice; a definition which held no regard for local laws. She fought viciously during the destruction of their village, but it was a losing battle until the endless tide of soldiers was broken briefly by an onslaught of hellish magic unleashed by her sister. After escaping and grieving over the death of their mother, Ethriel resolved to help Eleya win her soul back from Alzrius one day, a feat perhaps their father could help them with. -- source link
