OTMAA Contemporaries: Marta, Astrid and Carl of Sweden.They were second cousins of OTMAA, their mother Ingeborg of Denmark being a first cousin of Nicholas II. They had an older sister, Margaretha (1899) who seems to have had a friendly correspondence with Maria Nikolaevna who was almost exactly the same age: Margaretha was born 25 June 1899, and Maria 26 June (14 Old Style). Marta (or Martha) was born in 1901, the same year as Anastasia; Astrid in 1905, making her slightly younger than Alexei; and Carl in 1911. Marta would eventually become Crown Princess of Norway (she died before her husband Olav ascended the throne, so was never Queen), and Astrid would become Queen of the Belgians as the first wife of Leopold III. -- source link
