tucker-draws-things: Part 3 - The Welcoming ColdThe ships were unfamiliar. Colder, but still speaking among themselves in a language Setsuna knew well. There was so much information he was working to sift through, weaving among the heavy lines of ships. Warships. Fighters. Frigates. And deep down, he knows this is not everything the empire has to offer. He follows the lights, set up to guide him, and he teleports when prompted, arriving in a room under the cold, glowing gaze of a man - of a beast - he has never seen before and yet his heart knows him. With glowing eyes, Setsuna sets his jaw, and looks upon the visage of Emperor Zarkon.“Welcome, Innovator.”There is a way he speaks that reminds Setsuna so much of the emptiness of the Reapers, but he feels no inherent malice. “To the Galra Empire.”This part was originally going to be much longer, but splitting it like this makes for much less work for me and makes this more dramatic, because the second half of this is longer. Also, I really wanna put a lot of work into Setsuna’s meeting with Zarkon, and convey the gravity that I think the scene warrants. The background from the first image is from the wiki. I like my wrists and also did not want to draw this out with a sub-par background. Tags for: @ninthfeather, @judemathisaselia, @sapphireswimming, and @pulseofthestars -- source link
