Nothing like holding the fate of the entire galaxy in her hands. She was half tempted to turn around and just shoot the ghostly figure, but she didn’t even have the energy for that. Miranda stumbled forward, dropping to her knee as the fatigue hit her. They couldn’t have made this easy? A simple button she could have pressed as she sat back on the ground, waiting for her inevitable end? She wheezed out a breath, her vision going dark for a moment. There were broken bones and surely some internal bleeding, but she had to keep moving. She pushed off from her knee, at least she tried to, but fell forward instead, barely catching herself with an outstretched arm. Her vision went dark again and there was a ringing in her ears now.
