I like that in the manga Nine Alpha assumes a rival role and has a franxx vs franxx battle. It makes a lot more sense for him to face off against Hiro02 while they are disobeying “Papa”. And surprisingly he actually lets them go after Hiro finally lands a hit on him. Since he enjoys battle so much he must like it when someone “proves” themselves. He is still a little shit, but I actually find it endearing/funny, especially the teasing of Ichigo. -- source link
