Doing another tank review (It’s been a long time huh?)The Type 64 tier 6 Chinese light tank is a vehicle that a lot of players know as the Chinese Hellcat. Its excellent mobility as well as its view range are very useful when looking for the enemy. Playing this vehicle is fairly similar to how the tier 6 American tank destroyer, the M18 Hellcat, is with some differences. One is the vehicles’ track traverse. The Hellcat can only traverse approximately 31 degrees per second while the Type 64 can turn about 60 degrees, almost double in comparison. However the tank destroyer can use a powerful 90mm main gun, unlike the Type 64′s 76mm main gun. But don’t let that deter you. If put in the right hands, this light tank can cause major problem to even high tier tanks with its high rate of fire and good gun penetration.The cons of this vehicle are its very thin armor, reaching a maximum thickness of 25mm. Adding to the fact that it has 580 hit points, this vehicle cannot brawl against many opponents so stick to areas of dense foliage in order to take advantage of its good camo rating. If you manage to survive during a match, you can decide to either support your remaining allies to hunt down enemy tanks or diverge off and hunt down isolated tanks, such as enemy self-propelled guns or heavily damaged medium and heavy tanks. Personally, I play this tank in two ways. The first as an aggressive scout, meaning that I rush towards an area where I can see the enemy tanks’ movements and give my team an idea of what they’re up against. The second as a support tank, keeping enemy vehicles tracked or flanking them to cause some damage and be a distraction for my stronger allies to take care of the enemy. This light tank has quickly become of my my favorite light tanks, with the M41 Walker Bulldog tier 7 American light tank and WZ-132 tier 8 Chinese light tank. Using its amazing agility, superb spotting capabilities, and potential to play as a tank destroyer, this light tank can very well become a force to be reckoned with. -- source link
