(Warhammer 40K story)Record: Millennium 30 (Start of the Great Galactic Crusade)When the great crusade began, entire fleets of ships were built by the planetary alliance between Mars and Terra, preparing the logistics of each launch the ships took different directions to expand exploration into unknown sectors and reconquer the marginalized colonies in the name of the Emperor.Each expedition encountered different situations when discovering the state of the colonies but for the most part their government was unstable or in absolute anarchy, a prominent case was the planet “Cthonia”, a mining colony that had exhausted its most essential resources in a short time and only spoils and mining slaves were left to their fate.During the warp storm “Cthonia” was plundered of its wealth with countless mining tunnels that pierced the planet to only a dead shell that shook from the overpopulation of humans hiding like hungry snakes. Even with great difficulty enlightening the savage inhabitants of “Cthonia”, The Emperor allowed his annexation to the growing Empire for two important reasons: 1.“Cthonia” lived under a regime of killing to survive and was therefore seen as her worth in recruiting experienced soldiers who could serve to reinforce the ranks of the Luna Wolves. (The new troops shared the same interest with the Luna Wolves  to conquer at any cost.) 2. The reason for forgiving “Cthonia” from its destruction was due to the discovery of the Primarch “Horus Lupercal” who had lived his childhood among the gangs of “Cthonians” learning to survive until reaching adulthood and defeat with his own hands the Techno-barbarian kings who had subdued the planet, ascending to leadership among the gangs; Horus’ meeting with his father the Emperor allowed him to understand the state of humanity and the purpose of the Empire to restore civil order in the galaxy.With the primarch “Horus” a giant of 4 meters high with reflexes and superhuman strength fighting for the Empire of his Father, no threat was great enough to conquer or eliminate, for his great charisma as leader the proud Emperor gave him to Horus the leadership of the Luna Wolves legion and the Cthonian soldiers ”.
