raidesart: Recently, I’ve noticed that a lot of talented artists I follow online have experienced massive drops in reach. Social media puts a lot of pressure on artists to constantly mass produce high-quality work. From what I’ve experienced, artists who can’t keep up can feel sad or angry at the algorithm, and some even doubt themselves. So here is a reminder that you shouldn’t focus too much on the numbers on your posts. I know from personal experience this is easier said than done, but distancing yourself emotionally from social media can be incredibly relieving! Just know that decent people won’t judge you by the numbers you reach. If you produce quality work and / or have fun with what you’re doing, you’re on the right track :) -- source link
