So I’ve come across this page and I’ve never felt more mixed about three panels in my entire life.Note: I’m only going to comment on Sonic’s and Amy’s behavior because I don’t know Rotor all that well.Well, for Amy, I don’t have much to say. She’s pretty well in character here (and this seems like something Amy would do, split fights if Tails is not around).As for Sonic… He’s the reason that I’m feeling mixed about this. On one hand, I can get behind what he’s trying to argue here and it seems like a Sonic thing to argue about, that they should help someone out. He’s demonstrated in Sonic and the Black Knight that he will ditch his worldly task if it means helping a small village or even an individual person if he feels like it’s something that can be done.On the other hand, I really don’t like how jerkish he comes off here, either. What he’s arguing for is noble. The way he’s arguing for it is not. The second panel is fine, the first panel…I’m not sure, I’ll leave that to people who know his character better (though I feel like Sonic would be less sarcastic and more “What? No, we can’t do that, what the hell?”), and the last panel is the least Sonicky of them all. I don’t see Sonic as getting back at someone about an apology and then just giving in last minute because he was scolded like a puppy. He’d likely take a deep breath, give a reality check, and go, “You’re right, I really blew my top there. Sorry.” -- source link
