juliancallos: “Bird Song”Acrylic and gouache on Rives BFK mounted on panel9″ x 12″ My latest solo show, “Sense Memory,” opens at Nucleus Portland this Saturday, July 22nd, from 5–8pm! The show is about how certain stimuli to the senses can trigger feelings of nostalgia. This piece relates to the sense of hearing. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend the opening, but I hope people take plenty of pictures and tag them so I can see how it goes!
