petiteabeille-doree: henstomper: totallynotagentphilcoulson: sturmtruppen: ellis-dee: This guy raised an abandoned moose calf with his Horses, and believe it or not, he has trained it for lumber removal and other hauling tasks. Given the 2,000 pounds of robust muscle, and the splayed, grippy hooves, he claims it is the best work animal he has. He says the secret to keeping the moose around is a sweet salt lick, although, during the rut he disappears for a couple of weeks, but always comes home…. Impressive !! MINNESOTA CLYDESDALE why are moose so terrifyingly large Because they’re pretty much legit surviving Ice Age megafauna and almost everything was bigger back then his moose leaves for a few weeks to Fuck A close friend of mine works for an animal rehabilitation place in eastern Canada. She was responsible for raising two orphaned baby moose a few years ago. Moose imprint on their mothers to learn moosey behaviours. So she had to sleep with them, feed them, and generally teach them how to be moose. She said that if she were to go find them in the wild now, they would remember her and be nothing but gentle, even though they weigh literally a ton. So given that that dude raised that moose, the moose is probably like “oh yeah, that’s my mama” and comes back to steal food from him, as we all do with our parents when we become adults. moose -- source link
