I recently spent some time in Wales, in a cabin nestled in the woods, and this was the view from the window. I really needed to get away for a while and it was the perfect place to do so - and honestly, I could spend a hell of a lot more time there. Lately I’ve hit a bit of a creative block, but in addition to that I’ve really felt the need to withdraw from almost everything around me and focus simply on how I exist and work by myself, without worrying about what’s around me. I talked about this a little on instagram, but not much elsewhere, I think… It’s kind of funny being in this position when most of the world is currently so excited to get back to living in society, but I’ve always kind of existed in my own little separate pocket.Anyway, in spite of finding it difficult to put things into action lately, my mind is still working hard on creativity - I can’t stop it, really. I’m trying to note down as much as I can, keep sketches and ideas recorded so that I can go back to them, work on them slowly, bit by bit over time. That, I’m realising, is how I should approach anything successfully - just keep going, carefully and steadily, one day at a time, keeping things in balance as much as possible. -- source link
