linda1234me:Deanna took the stereotype of the hard working barrister even farther than most. She rarely did anything else. She didn’t date much and seldom socialized with the other barristers at the firm. Then Zoey came to work as a paralegal. And they hit it off. They really hit it off! They became friends in a very special way. Deanna spent more and more time talking with the young, (seemingly) innocent and sweet breath of fresh air that had joined them. Did I mention that Zoey was beautiful? They soon became best friends. On Deanna’s birthday Zoey gave her a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a warm smile, and a friendly, ”Happy Birthday!” Deanna was overcome and instinctively kissed Zoey. On the lips.“OMG, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have. Its just that none of the men at the firm remembered my birthday, and they’ve known me much longer….you’re so sweet and wonderful I forgot myself….”“Its fine. In fact, I’ve been wanting to kiss you for a long time.”Then Zoey kissed Deanna, a longer kiss that quickly turned passionate (pictured above)Deanna caught her breath. ‘I’ve never kissed a girl before. Are girl kisses always so much better than boy kisses?”Zoey smiled her warmest smile. “I think it depends on how much you like the girl.”Deanna replied, ”Kissing you was so much better than any guy kiss I’ve ever had. Totally different. So I guess I really like you. I do really, really like you. Maybe….. I’m…..maybe I’m in love with you.”They kissed again, the longest and best kiss ever. At their wedding 5 years later Zoey and Deanna drank a toast to “the kiss that changed two lives.” -- source link
