I’m noticing some new friends around here, so how about some #Fridayintroductions with the theme of ways that I am turning into my mother - maybe others can relate ⠀ ⠀ 1) Never in my life did I think I would enjoy a drink with tomato juice. My mom’s go-to on a flight is V8, and while you won’t catch me drinking that alone, add some Bloody Mary mix, vodka and apparently an entire meal and I here for it. ⠀ ⠀ 2) My plans this weekend are pretty much all garden centered If you told 8 yr old Sarah she would choose to spend her time in the dirt helping things grow she’d 100% think you were nutty. ⠀ ⠀ 3) I’ve also inherited my mom’s ability to make up song lyrics about everyday items and tasks and audibly sing them even if people are around. Michael does the same though, so maybe I’m getting that from too much time with him… I don’t know if that makes it better or worse ⠀ ⠀ 4) Last, but not least, are the number of times things have come out of my mouth and I’ve literally had to pause because they sounded just. like. my. mom. ⠀ ⠀ Anyone else out there slowly turning into the woman that raised them?
