myblack-is-beautiful: eastafriqueen: thepoliticalfreakshow: CNN’s Exclusive First Interview With Zimmerman Trial Juror B-37, The Same Juror Writing A Book With Her Attorney Husband NOTE: Once you read what Juror B-37 said, you will completely see why the jury acquitted George Zimmerman. They all agreed with him. Not an impartial jury. Five of the jurors were white, one of the jurors was Hispanic. It’s likely this is one of the white jurors. We’ll know more when the anonymity order might be lifted. Also, several of the jurors were past/current gun owners. Important updates I want you to pay attention to are bolded for emphasis/importance. “Some of the witnesses were good, some of them not so good.”- #ZimmermanTrial juror exclusive now on #AC360 One of the jurors who acquitted George #Zimmerman says she believed it was Zimmerman’s voice that was heard screaming for help in 911 calls. Zimmerman juror tells @andersoncooper she didn’t find Rachel Jeantel’s testimony to be credible; felt sorry for her. (@sgallman) B-37: It appeared Jeantel didn’t want to be there, was embarrassed. I had hard time understanding her “a lot of the time.“ @AC360 Breaking: Zimmerman juror B-37 whose now seeking book deal, twlls CNN Det. Serino “made big impression on me.” B-37: I thought it was #Zimmerman calling for help b/c his injuries supported it, also because of John Good’s testimony. B-37 says she was impressed by the medical examiner the defense called and by “Vietnam vet" friend of #Zimmerman. @andersoncooper Breaking: Zimmerman jury member speaking out to CNN Anderson Cooper now. Says Don West joke was “Horrible.“ O’Mara to Anderson Cooper: How dare prosecution not accept not guilty verdict in reaction to Corey still calling GZ “murderer.” B-37: None of the jurors believed race played a role in this case. #Zimmerman @AC360 Juror B37 on first #Zimmerman jury vote: 3 not guilty, 2 manslaughter, 1 second-degree murder. Juror B-37: #Zimmerman “a man whose heart was in the right place. … who went above & beyond what he should have done.“ @AC360 B-37: GZ heart was in the right place, but went above and beyond. Guilty of not using good judgement; should have stayed in car. B37 on #Zimmerman: His heart was in the right place, something went terribly wrong, guilty only of bad judgment. B-37: I think #Zimmerman was consistent “and told the truth, basically.” @AC360 B-37 once was licensed gun owner; says GZ had right to carry one. Statements consistent but w/fabrications. B-37: “George had a right to protect himself at that point.“ @AC360 #Zimmerman B37: #Zimmerman “probably thought” #TrayvonMartin was reaching for the gun (it’s what Zimmerman thought that is key legally). Juror tells @AndersonCooper: “George Zimmerman’s heart was in the right place…He’s guilty of not using good judgement.“ (@sgallman) B-37 believes TM threw first punch; was the aggressor but George should not have been there: “got in too deep.” B37: I think #Trayvon got mad and attacked him. Juror B37: found the defense animation credible, showing first punch against #Zimmerman near T in sidewalk. B-37: The scream for help on the 911 call was “pretty important,“ b/c that person “was screaming for their life.” @AC360 #Zimmerman B-37: I don’t think GZ racially profiled TM. Juror B37: “I don’t think he (racially profiled) … If there was another person, Spanish, white, Asian … George woulda reacted same way.“ B-37: “All of us felt that race did NOT play a role. … We never had that discussion [about profiling.]” @AC360 #Zimmerman B-37: no discussion about race in jury room. B-37: I didn’t buy wanna be cop argument. She hesitated when asked if she would want GZ in her neighborhood, says he learned good lesson. Breaking: Juror B-37 tells CNN/ Anderson Cooper originally three of six jurors voted Zimmerman guilty, changed minds. I wonder if this first juror B-37 interview is part of book deal package in the works? We’ll see. Zimmerman juror tells @CNN George could be a neighborhood watchman in her own neighborhood “if he didn’t go too far.“ pic.twitter.com/m47vmbwATw Juror B37 said racial profiling never came up with jury - she thinks #Zimmerman profiled anyone in the neighborhood acting “suspicious.” B37 just said…that it was too time-consuming to go through all of the evidence because it wasn’t in order…..WHAT?? Juror B37: She voted not guilty from the start. The medical examiner could have done a better job preserving evidence, on hands, clothing. Breaking: Juror B-37: Initial vote, 3 not guilty 2 guilty Manslaughter, 1 guilty murder. She voted not guilty “Nobody is gonna know what exactly happened except for George.” #ZimmermanTrial Juror B37 #AC360 Juror B37 basically admitted that they found Zimmerman guilty of manslaughter, but decided to acquit him anyway because they liked the guy. Juror B37: After looking at evidence, looked at the law, which “became very confusing.“ But by Day 2 no one believed it was second degree. B-37: at time of second question on Saturday, three of six were voting guilty of Manslaughter. GZ Juror - Going thru the law we all had it down to at least Manslaughter. #fox35 "There was a couple in there that wanted to find him guilty of something … ” - #ZimmermanTrial Juror B37 #AC360 #ZimmermanJuror B37 said “a lot of the time #RachelJeantel was using phrases I’ve never heard before.“ This cultural bias is staggering. Couple jurors “wanted to find him guilty of something .. But we decided there was no other place to go… He had a right to defend himself.” B-37: because law, charges were so confusing, after hours and hours we finally decided there was no place else we could go but not guilty. GZ Juror - What finally mattered most was the final seconds… “I had no doubt that George feared for his life" #fox35 B-37: “I have no doubt George #Zimmerman feared for his life.“ @AC360 B 37 we finally boiled it down to the final seconds of the confrontation, George’s life was in danger. One juror who found #Zimmerman innocent called #TravyonMarton a “boy of color” and is cashing in with a book deal: http://ow.ly/mZxuj One reason jury duty is important: If you are not on the jury, people like #B37 will be. Just when I thought I could start to recover from the raw wounds of the Zimmerman verdict, juror B37 has opened them anew. Shorter Juror B37, it’s OK to go looking for a fight and, once youre having your ass handed to you, kill someone. Good to know. B-37: We all cried after we turned over verdict to bailiff. Someone lost his life. @AC360 #Zimmerman B-37: after jury took our vote we started to cry. Crying now she calls it a tragedy; I feel sorry for both. Zimmerman juror tells @CNN: “I think both were responsible for the situation they had gotten themselves into.“ B-37: I had “no clue whatsoever” how big this case was. It got so big and so emotional for everyone. @AC360 #Zimmerman Zimmerman juror tells @CNN: “I think both were responsible for the situation they had gotten themselves into.“ "I don’t want anybody else around me to be affected … not scared, but I wanna be cautious.” - #ZimmermanTrial Juror B37 #AC360 Juror B37 is just a little anti-vaccination fear-mongering away from a seat on The View. “I didn’t see it as a racial thing, I saw it as a murder case, a second-degree murder case.” - #ZimmermanTrial Juror B37 #AC360 B-37: I’m not scared now, but I don’t want people around me to be affected. I want to be cautious. We put everything in..to this verdict. Juror B37: “The law became very confusing.” #ZimmermanTrial Update: in wrenching interview w/CNN, juror B-37 says jurors cried over decision. First vote, half thought Zimmerman guilty. Law confusing. Talking to a jury after a verdict, criminal or civil, is to see how the sausage is made. And it’s rarely pretty. Screenshot of Zimmerman reacting to Juror #B37’s responses during jury selection. Pretty creepy in retrospect: pic.twitter.com/jBOYm3Bmxe The defense, prosecution, parents, a witness and a juror in the Zimmerman trial make the TV news rounds tonight. http://ow.ly/mZIDv Um, what “situation" had Trayvon gotten himself into other than walking-while-being-black??? She said the evidence wasnt in order? I do recall the Judge getting the request to put it in order and thus it WAS put in order. Race didn’t have to be verbally mentioned to he put in their minds. And THREE OUT OF 6 ORIGINALLY SAID GUILTY?! We’re they bullied out of it by the gun-toting black-fearing white non-compassionate women? Aint that some shit?! -- source link
