So, I didn’t get anywhere near as many mermaid illustrations done for MerMay as I originally intended. Like, at all. But I am happy with what I did end up getting done! When I asked for suggestions, @chaotic_neutralish was super sweet enough to suggest a Little Mermaid parody using a scene from the movie but with different characters. This is the product of that! Took me about 4 to 5 hours to color it alone, lol~ It’s been so long since I’ve watched Gurren Lagann, but drawing this made me want to watch it in all its awesomeness again. Thank you so much for the prompt, Chaotic! I do plan on drawing the other suggestions that were posted too.
