She rolled onto her side, the blankets sliding away from her in a way that seemed choreographed. “Do you ever want to get away from it all?” The cliche made him wince, but he considered it for a moment. “What do you mean?” A pause as he draped his hand lazily over her chest, a finger and thumb finding her nipple and gently rolling it. “A holiday?” She shook her head, her back arching imperceptibly. “No. I mean away from everything. Cities, technology, people…” She smiled. “Even clothes. Just being naked survivalists in the countryside. Without all the faff.” He almost heard her sigh wistfully, but she stopped herself. “How romantic.” He murmured, staring at the ceiling, before he gave that nipple a pinch. “Stop dreaming, beautiful. No, I don’t want to get away from it all. I like the city, I like technology, and I like people.” He paused, before a chuckle erupted. “Well, some people. You, I like. And I’m not so bad.” His fingers went back to rolling. “And as for clothes… well, how will you tease me if I can see everything all the time?” She pouted a little, before turning onto her back and pressing herself to his side. “I don’t know, I just feel so tired sometimes. Like everything here is just draining me slowly, y'know? Seems like it would be simpler without all this stuff.” She cast a hand around the room, at the discarded clothes, the television in the corner, the toys. He chuckled again, giving her another pinch. “But they don’t have butt plugs in the countryside.” Her eyes went wide, and she shook her head. “Yeah, ok, let’s not go there then.” Now it was full on laughter from him. -- source link
