fasole-dulce:gwydionmisha:incubus-absolution:bokettochild:maximasmac: vaneloslash: geekymedguru: How to spot signs and symptoms of Breast Cancer Reblog to literally save a life whish they told us this in school, all they did was say “feel for lumps, you will know when you feel it” This is important, even if it doesn’t work with your blog theme REBLOG IT!!!!Women need to know this, not all of us have ever been told what we need to look out for! yeah reblogging especially for my transmasc fellows who (like me) might be real uncomfortable with their chests and not know what to watch out for because we try to avoid this kind of thing (just me? okay) Cis Men need to know it too. They can get breast cancer even though the odds are lower.Everyone needs to know Breast cancer symptoms In 2000, a high school friend of mine died of breast cancer. She was 30 years old. It had spread to her liverIn 2007, I lost an Aunt. It had spread to her bone.In 2012, I lost a close friend. She battled it for 15 years. It had spread to her liver. In 2021, My best childhood friend passed. It had spread to her brain. I also know several women who are survivors. Breast cancer contained to the breast is curable. Once it spreads anywhere else, it becomes an aggressive, evil bitch. The friend I lost in 2012 did every form of chemo available. She did experimental surgery. She was treated at one of the best cancer treatment hospitals. It always came back. Check yourselves. Even if you’re young and you think it can’t happen. Check yourselves or have your partner check you. When you’re old enough for mammograms, get them. Every year. Preferably at the same facility so they can compare current ones to previous ones. If you’re in the US, health insurance is required to cover mammograms at 100%. If you don’t have insurance, there are free and low cost mammos available. My understanding is that planned parenthood doesn’t do them, but can refer you to the low /no cost facilities. -- source link
