A selection of shower rooms from the dormitories of the Ukrainian State University of Food Technologies in Kiev, Ukraine.In order from top to bottom, they are from dormitory 1, dormitory 2, dormitory 3, dormitory 4, dormitory 5, and dormitory 7 (numbered dorms are common in the former Soviet Union).This type of shower room is typical in older (built pre-2000) student dormitories in the former Soviet Union. Typically the whole dorm shares one shower room for each gender. Clearly dormitory one’s shower has been recently refurbished and only 3, 4 and 5 look like true ‘Soviet style’. -- source link
