Fun fact: H.R. Giger offered to design a brand new Alien for the film Alien 3 but was told by Fox that they didn’t want his help because they’d hired Stan Winston studios to design it. When later asked what their goal was in regards to the creature’s design, a person who worked on the new Alien said they wanted to make a more “Giger-esque” creature than the Alien in the original movie.
