Inktober Day 8: Aguaymanto Physalis peruviana is a berry native to high-altitude, tropical Chile and Perú. It has an inflated, paper-like covering that enclosed the berry. This fruit is both sweet and tart and is commonly used in pastries and drinks. It took me some time to figure out what this fruit was called. I know I’ve had it several times while in Perú, but my family calls it “puchi puchi.” I have vivid memories of me eating these as a kid ☺️ #inktober #inktober2017 #watercolor -- source link
