futuristicsaladparadise:Ana Rubin has been sweltering in her cousins’ hand-me-down winter clothing, so she is thrilled when Mama finds time to make her a simple lawn dress for the summer temperatures that are so much hotter than Ana’s native Russia. The material is very thin, so you can see the embroidery on her slip. I was originally making the “1912 Apron Dress” pattern from PixieFaire, but it’s morphed into a dress and apron, as I wanted something more summery. I’m still working on the apron, but the dress looked so cute with the ribbon sash that I needed to take a picture. -- source link
