Main reason for making OCs:There isn’t one specific one, different ones have different origin stories and reasons for their creation. I’ve done it for exploring plot and characters/their relationships, participating in a group activity (game/rp), impulsively just because. Some characters I don’t think about at all while others sit in my head and hang out with me because they’re my imaginary friends… Did I mention daydreaming? OCs are great for daydreaming and escaping reality whether you mean to or not haha. Idk like I said I don’t really make them but I simply collect them from some other thing. -- source link
