fantasywifeuniverse: Kelly was desperate. After six months on quarantine she was willing to do anything to leave her apartment. But, thanks to the federal pandemic rules, the only way she could step outside was by using a personal avatar. Unfortunately, even if she could afford one, the waiting list for personalized models was a year long. The only people who had one were rich folks who could jump the line or – shudder – pervs like her roommate who had bought one back when they were just sold as sex dolls. Gross. But Kelly was desperate. All she wanted was a few hours outside. She could walk around. Go by her office and grab some things that had been on her desk for months. Maybe drop by her BFF’s place just to break the quarantine boredom. Kelly tried not to think of all the weird things her roommate had probably done with the avatar as she slipped the neural scanner over her face. It was such a weird sensation to open her eyes and see her own body lying on her bed, but it was even weirder just how natural and normal the whole experience felt. She rummaged through her closet to find some clothes besides the sweatpants and tshirts she had been wearing for weeks on end, when Kelly stumbled upon some old, skimpy outfits she hadn’t worn since college that suddenly seemed appealing – but she couldn’t quite put her finger on why. Still, she stared at herself in the mirror – or at least her new body – admiring it. Studying it. “Ohmygawd this top makes my titties look uh-ma-zing!” That wasn’t what she had intended to say. Was it? For the first time, Kelly felt weird – what if it was some kind of neutral feedback or any other of the side effects she had read about. Kelly walked out into the living room to find her roommate and ask him to help her end the session early, but luckily he was standing right outside her door. Before she could say anything, he told her that there wasn’t any neutral feedback, that she had nothing to worry about, and that she should just enjoy it. A weight lifted off Kelly’s shoulders. She was so relieved that nothing was wrong, and had to admit that she was pretty lucky to have such a great roommate who was always looking out for her – a guy she could trust with anything. Anything. -- source link
