There’s actual no inherent “incubus means boy, succubus means girl”, there’s are social constructs attached to word, likely from the overall patriarchal society we live in that pushes the narrative “BOYS MUST BE DOMINANT, GIRLS MUST BE SUBMISSIVE”.Someone who chooses the term “Incusexual” for themselves might strongly attach themselves to pansexuality (or other type of multisexual identity such as polysexual or bisexual) since sex acts themselves, they care not for the sex or gender of said person while in the act with them.Term and flag created in May 2022 -- source link
