Clifton Nickelson is a twenty three year old character in Make Your Mark Roleplay, a literate group. He looks very similar to Daniel Radcliffe and is OPEN. Name: Clifton Nickelson Nicknames: Known as Cliff Age: Twenty Three Date of Birth: March 8th (Pisces) Location of Birth: Seattle, Washington Gender Identity: Male Orientation: Bisexual Occupation: Male Stripper Education: No Formal Education Identifying marks/tattoos: Tattoo dedicated to his sister on his left shoulder Piercings: None Resides In: Manhattan, New York Neighborhood: Chelsea Headcanon #1: Cliff looks for women that are like his sister. He doesn’t mean to; it’s definitely not intentional. But he’s taken care of his little sister his entire life, and when she died it was devastating. He’s been looking for someone to watch after ever since. Headcanon #2: Up to roleplayer! Clifton was two years old when his sister, Margot, was born. From the moment of her arrival, Cliff took care of her as if she was his own child. He was always a responsible kid, but he proved himself even more when his sister was born. By five, he was teaching her how to walk and talk; he was brilliant and already knew his alphabet, numbers, and how to read. Some thought that he was a child genius: but his parents overlooked him, as they were much more interested in his younger sister. Clifton was never one to raise chaos or complain, so his parents’ favoritism for Margot went unnoticed for a long time. They never spoke of it; it was just that Margot always got all the attention, and Clifton never got a word spoken to him. Ultimately, his parents ignored him altogether. The only thing they cared about was Margot, who was reckless, careless, and didn’t give a damn about anybody. When Clifton was seventeen, Margot was involved in a fatal car accident. She was fifteen at the time, and had just gotten into drugs and alcohol. Margot was at a party; and had been drinking liquor with her friends. They had gotten in the car, pulled onto the interstate, and reached about sixty-five miles per hour before anything happened. The car began to shake at first, but Margot and the other passengers were virtually unaware of the trouble that lie ahead. Then, the car sped off the side of the road. It hit the railing, and toppled over the side of the median. Margot was sliced through the middle; her body was railed in half by the metal wall, bordering the road. Clifton’s parents call a call late in the night informing them about the accident. For months, years even, Cliff’s parents wouldn’t speak about it. They ignored Cliff completely, pretending as if her didn’t even exist. The only thing that they cared about was their little girl, Margot, who was dead. Clifton couldn’t do anything to make them happy, or solve the death of Margot. Ultimately, he had to get away. Clifton chose New York– the only city big enough to overcome his problems. Clifton lives in New York now. He’s made it completely on his own, without any help from his parents. His sister’s death has been really hard on him– he can’t really get close to anybody. Even when he tries, eventually, Cliff just clams up and runs away. His parents don’t ever speak to him anymore, and that’s just fine by him. They’ve never paid any attention to him, and they’re still extremely depressed over the death of Margot. Cliff decided three years after his sisters death that he was going to be happy though, for her. Since then, he’s done everything in his power to make the most of his life. He’s moved to New York, made friends, and gotten a ridiculously risky job. Cliff is a male stripper, and gets hired for events. For the most part, he does bachelorette parties, birthdays, and parses. However, on some rare occasions, Clifton is hired to do private parties; which often get strange and awkward. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to make it though, and will stop at nothing to make himself in the city that never sleeps. Positive Character Traits: Loyal, hopeful, sentimental, family-oriented, sweet, loving, giving, layered. Negative Character Traits: Naive, sad, innocent, meticulous, paranoid, broken, moody, temperamental. -- source link
