Noelle Havisham is a twenty one year old character in Make Your Mark Roleplay, a literate group. She looks very similar to Kaya Scodelario and is OPEN. Name: Noelle Estella Havisham Nicknames: Goes by Stella sometimes, as an alter-ego Age: Twenty One Date of Birth: November 3rd (Scorpio) Location of Birth: Savannah, Georgia Gender Identity: Female Orientation: Demisexual Occupation: Gallery Assistant at The Metropolitan Museum of Art Education: Visual Design Degree from SCAD Identifying marks/tattoos: Swallow tattoo on back Piercings: Ear piercings, cartilage rings, tongue piercing Resides In: Manhattan, New York Neighborhood: NoHo Headcanon #1: Noelle has had a hard time adjusting to New York. She moved here to escape her mother, but she’s found that she misses her a lot. She also comes from a small, southern, town and is accustomed to that kind of hospitality. People in New York are different though, and Noelle’s having a hard time relating to anyone or making friends. Headcanon #2: Up to roleplayer! Growing up, Noelle’s mother taught her that men were evil. She was a single mom for most of her life, and had only used men as a means of gathering mass amounts of wealth. Noelle couldn’t count on one hand how many times her mother had been married. She was sure that it had been at least five times, and every single one of them ended in divorce (except for two, which died of mysterious causes one year into the relationship). So Noelle grew up with many men in her life– but none of them lasted, and her mother would find a replacement just weeks later. Love didn’t matter to her mom: It was all about what she could gain. She pushed these beliefs heavily on Noelle and for a while, Noelle listened. It was even easier while growing up in a small Southern town, where sophisticated girls were always looking to get married to the wealthy. In high school Noelle would date to gain social status, popularity, and gifts. She was charming and beautiful so boys came to her in heaps and bounds. However, as Noelle got older and wiser, she released that she couldn’t follow in her mother’s footsteps. Nothing inside of Noelle desired to become like her mother, so she started following her own path. Noelle began to date the type of boys that she wanted to date, and hang out with the type of people that she wanted. After high school, Noelle dropped all of her private school friends– and adopted new, eclectic, artsy friends at college. She attended Savannah College of Art and Design, and lived in a studio in downtown Savannah all throughout her college years. Noelle is extremely gifted in visual arts, and pursed it with passion throughout school. Her idea of a perfect night would be staying at home, doing pills, and drawing. She loves the way that drugs influence her artwork, and has come up with tons of great things while under the influence. Noelle is shy and reserved. She won’t open up to people at all, really. Her issues with her mother lie right below the surface; Noelle had to leave her hometown just to get away from her. They had been fighting all the time, and finally, Noelle snapped. She told her that she wanted nothing to do with her and she was leaving. Days later, Noelle left her hometown of Savannah, Georgia, in favor of a larger one. With a visual arts degree from SCAD in hand, she aspired to become an artist of some sort– preferably something where she could draw, sketch, or paint. Noelle’s found that it’s hard to make a name for yourself in New York, however, especially as an artist. It seems just about everyone she meets wants to be an artist, and it’s been extremely difficult for her to find work. Noelle’s had to accept a job as an assistant in an art gallery just to make ends meet. Her hands are dying to create new masterpieces though, and she feels like her potential is being wasted in New York.
