constantarrival:Stamped Brick of the Sumerian King Šulgi of UrThis stamped brick records nearly four lines of a royal inscription of the king Šulgi (2094-2047 BCE), written in Sumerian cuneiform. It is possible that the brick comes from a partition wall in one of the vaults of the Royal Cemetery at Ur; however, since it was not discovered as part of an archaeological excavation, this is uncertain. Šulgi was the second ruler of the Third Dynasty of Ur, under whose reign the empire was consolidated and centralised. (Source 1, 2)The Fitzwilliam Museum. -- source link
