Nyx from Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge I’m calling it done. I can go on and on messing with the details, but I’d rather draw her multiple times instead of spending it all one one image.I really enjoyed this book. The setting is lovely and other. A cursed county, which I enjoy to read about. A place where old rules don’t quite apply.Nyx is perfectly relatable. Being angry and kind but feeling hate. And her sharp tongue and quick mind. I enjoyed being in her head.Shade was shady. Kind but the moment he told her she was their only hope, he lost my allegiance.Ignifex was a delight. I wasn’t sure what sort of demon he would turn out to be, and it turned out he’s of the Howl persuasion. Charming and silly and sharp and sweet.I loved them all by the end.Its Beauty and the Beast, Bluebeard and a bit of Tam Lin thrown in as well. -- source link
